The weekend of The Noise in Bristol is an annual event I have volunteered at for the last few years. Normally I have my hands covered in oil as I repair numerous bikes from the residents of Southmead but this year I wanted to use my cooking skills and passion for healthy eating to support the project.
Instead of the regular BBQ , at Branch Community Church we used some my recipes to create healthy, easy to cook recipes that we could share with the residents of Brentry and Henbury.
I am proud to say that as a team we served up 120 freshly cooked calzone with coleslaw and over 150 portions of Jamaican jerk veg stew and beans. And, thanks to the support of Aldi we were able to give it away FREE!.
The response was really positive http://bit.ly/1SGUHBI
The recipes are here if you would like to cook them at home.
